Report ranks states on children's health, well-being

A new report says the state where a child is born and raised is a major factor in whether the youngster is healthy and lives to adulthood. Children living in Louisiana, the lowest-ranking state in the study, were twice as likely to die in their first year of life compared with children in Vermont, the highest-ranking state.
