Tesco to use in-store research to reduce packaging

Tesco is attempting to determine which products can have less packaging by allowing customers, while in a store, to remove the packaging from products they've purchased. "We know that our customers want us to continue to reduce packaging," said Lucy Neville-Rolfe, executive director for corporate and legal affairs at Tesco. "We are looking to find the least amount of packaging necessary, and this trial will help us to establish customers' views."
