Redesigning offices can help employees lose weight

Mayo Clinic researchers say redesigning office space and changing how people work can help employees lose weight. Using "non-exercise activity thermogenesis," or burning off calories doing everyday movements such as standing instead of sitting, the Mayo team helped 18 office workers lose a total of 156 pounds over six months.
