Officials in New Zealand are being asked to study whether schools are equipped to take advantage of opportunities presented by high-speed broadband. "I hope that the overall outcome is that we are able to identify possible savings in technology and buildings, develop recommendations regarding optimal learning environments, and identify the skills required for teachers and students to achieve their full potential in the modern world," said National Party MP Nikki Kaye.
