How to find the right investor and make the perfect pitch

You have to understand the differences between angel investors and venture capitalists to make sure you go after the right types of investors, writes Marty Zwilling of Startup Professionals. Angels typically invest their own money and are interested in early stage companies; venture capitalists manage money from funds and are interested in later-stage funding. No matter who you're pitching to, make sure to include an executive summary with your business plan, and don't make your plan too long.
