MetroPCS ups unlimited package to $70 and adds new plans

MetroPCS has raised the price of its unlimited data package by $10 a month to $70 and instituted caps on its lower-priced plans, the prepaid carrier said Tuesday, adding that users will find their speeds cut back once they exceed those limits. The new plans include 250 megabytes for $40, 2.5 gigabytes for $50 and 5 GB for $60 with unlimited access to Rhapsody music streaming.
