Pfizer taps ad agencies for ways to reduce expenses

Hoping to cut expenses, Pfizer is requesting information from its agencies, including Omnicom Group's Rapp, Publicis Groupe's Kaplan Thaler Group, Dentsu's McGarryBowen, WPP's Grey and Havas' Euro Life. Sources say the move is one part of a wider drive to reduce company expenses in 2012, including ad spending pegged at $2.12 billion in the U.S.
