Studies expand knowledge of Alzheimer's, dementia progression

A Weill Cornell Medical College study published online in the journal Neuron said researchers have developed a computational model that tracks progression of various forms of dementia by an individual patient. A second study from the University of California San Francisco Memory and Aging Center supported a hypothesis about the transneuronal spread of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
