U.K. retail development pipeline hits 50-year low, C&W says

There will be only 339,063 square feet of retail space developed in the U.K. this year, according to Cushman & Wakefield. That is the lowest figure in close to 50 years. Last year, there was a 14% increase in retail development, but the delivery of Westfield Stratford accounted for much of that.
