Animal Planet L!VE shows animals, insects in action

Animal Planet has launched a 24-hour digital service for iPods and connected TVs that features live webcams showing cockroaches, kittens, penguins, puppies and a half dozen other insects and animals. The Animal Planet L!VE service was developed in conjunction with the Audubon Nature Institute, Explore.org, the National Aquarium, the South Mountain Creamery and the Washington Animal Rescue League. The service also will soon be introduced on Xbox consoles and Roku boxes.
