Burnt-out employees face coronary risk, study finds

Burnt-out employees develop heart problems at a 79% higher rate than colleagues who are less stressed, according to a study by researchers at Tel Aviv University. Job burnout is "a stronger predictor of coronary heart disease than many other known risk factors, including blood lipid levels, physical activity, and smoking," the study notes.
