Grandson retraces grandfather's historic Mount Everest flight

Charles Douglas-Hamilton, grandson of Scottish pilot Col. Douglas Douglas-Hamilton, who flew over Mount Everest in 1933, recently retraced his grandfather's historic flight over the 29,029-foot peak. "It was astounding to see the mountain and appreciate the sort of risks taken by expedition pilots in the pursuit of advancing science and aviation," said Charles Douglas-Hamilton.
