Diabetes raises stroke risk in patients with insomnia

Young adults with insomnia were eight times more likely to have a stroke than those who did not have trouble sleeping, according to a Taiwanese study published in the journal Stroke. Researchers also found insomnia patients with diabetes were 1.25 times as likely to have a stroke.
