Insomnia may put young adults at greater risk of stroke

Young adults with insomnia were eight times more likely to suffer a stroke than those who did not have trouble sleeping, according to a Taiwanese study published in the journal Stroke. Researchers noted that diabetes was associated with a slightly greater risk of insomnia-related stroke.
