Feds question qualifications of many Connecticut teachers

A new federal monitoring report has questioned whether the qualifications of more than 13,000 Connecticut teachers working in the fields of elementary education, social studies and special education meet the criteria established under NCLB. The report's findings could force teachers to undergo job reviews, competency testing or further training.
