N.Y. suit accuses ad company of installing spyware

New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer has filed a "spyware"-related lawsuit against Internet advertising company Direct Revenue, alleging it has secretly installed millions of pop-up ads programs that monitor the online activity of users. This is the second such spyware suit filed by Spitzer, who is seeking the Democratic gubernatorial nomination.
