Former naval air station opens as civilian airport in Maine

Brunswick Executive Airport debuted Saturday in Brunswick, Maine. The civilian airport took over the former site of the Brunswick Naval Air Station. The complex features 8,000-foot runways and 650,000 square feet of hangar space. "We'd like to see up to 80 takeoffs and landings a day," said Steve Levesque, executive director of the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority.
