Japan considers using giant sheets to wrap damaged nuclear reactors

Japan's government is urging Tokyo Electric Power, operator of the stricken Fukushima nuclear plant, to consider wrapping a giant sheet around the facility to contain further radioactive leaks -- for an estimated cost of $950 million. What the sheet would be made from is unclear, as is whether it could be effective.
