Obama's energy "blueprint" includes fracking-safety measures

The "blueprint" released by the White House to coincide with President Barack Obama's energy speech last week would address safety concerns with hydraulic fracturing operations of natural gas drillers. The Department of Energy, along with the Environmental Protection Agency, would establish an advisory board to address fracking issues, according to the blueprint. The document also urges drillers to make further disclosures of the chemical contents of fracking fluids.
