TV and Web should be forever linked, Opera co-founder says

A growing number of TV viewers consider surfing the Internet on their big-screen TVs an essential function ... not a luxury, according to Opera co-founder Jon von Tetzchner. "The sooner manufacturers put an Internet button on the remote control, the sooner we'll all want to use it," he predicts. "We don't want to be away from the Internet. As we get more immersed we don't want to be without it."
