Billions in private capital pour into NYC's Hudson Yards

More than $5 billion in private funds has poured into the Hudson Yards District in New York City since 2005, and more than 5,000 apartments have been built. A 30-story, 200-apartment tower will break ground by the fourth quarter of this year and will include a gym, party room and roof garden. Some developers, however, are still waiting for the economy to gain more traction before they start building.
