China speeds up opening of capital markets to foreign investors

The China Securities Regulatory Commission increased the amount qualified foreign institutional investors are allowed to invest in the country's domestic capital markets from $30 billion to $80 billion. The securities regulator also raised the amount of yuan-denominated investment that foreigners are allowed to make in China.
