HHS awards $72M for early childhood home visits

HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced on Tuesday the agency has awarded $72 million in grants to 10 states for the creation or expansion of home visitation programs targeting pregnant women, parents, caregivers and children. The funding was awarded under the health care law's Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program.
