A4A: Airlines should be able to price their products as they choose

Although Samoa Air has rolled out pricing based on the weight of passengers and baggage, Airlines for America said it is not aware of any U.S. carriers that have adopted the practice. "We believe individual airlines, like other companies in a competitive marketplace, should be free to price and sell their products as they choose according to the market and their own policies," said Jean Medina, spokeswoman for A4A.
