Infant feeding practices may affect risk of childhood obesity

Babies who were breast-fed until 6 months of age were less likely to be obese by age 2, according to a study in the journal Pediatric Obesity. Researchers noted that introduction to solid food before 4 months of age and sleeping with a bottle were linked to an increased obesity risk.
