A new Sage Construction & Real Estate survey found that 40% of more than 800 construction businesses in North America do not use technology to get new business. That was OK when most of the jobs were just a short drive away. But when the recession hit, people in the AEC industry needed to look farther afield for work and still needed to be in touch with the office and other workers if they were to succeed. "The faster everyone can collaborate to get the job done, the more money you can make," says Jon Witty, Sage’s general manager.
