Wis. county works with university on employment projects

Dane County, Wis., has partnered with the University of Wisconsin's Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Psychology to help more people with disabilities get jobs, said Doug Hunt of the county's Department of Human Services. The county has an agreement with the UW and Middleton Memorial Veteran hospitals to provide hospital training for workers who want to get into health care. The county has also joined with Madison schools to provide support for students who have jobs so they can maintain their employment.
