Bandwidth limitations may hinder VoIP

For all of its advantages, VoIP still faces a major hurdle: Some ISPs don't offer enough bandwidth to handle VoIP calls consistently. U.S. consumers are used to high quality phone service, and technical difficulties that diminish the quality of VoIP service will hinder widespread adoption.
