Breast cancer vaccines still could be a decade away

Researchers said there probably are dozens of breast cancer vaccines under study, but currently the majority of those are in the early stages. Researchers are working from several different angles in developing a vaccine, but the first goal will be to have a vaccine prevent breast cancer recurrence or to shrink the tumor and then move on to focus on preventive vaccines.
