Bud Light shifts from racy Super Bowl ads to low-carb message

Though Anheuser-Busch's Super Bowl ads featuring eyebrow-raising comedic situations played well with Bud Light's target market, the brewer has shifted focus to a series of "functional" ads targeting the low carbohydrate content of light beer. Still, company officials say irreverent humor will continue to be a part of their television commercials.
