Elle Girl mag to go Web-only, wireless

Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. is pulling the plug on the print edition of Elle Girl magazine after five years, but will keep producing an online edition and expand into wireless media. Compared to other teen titles, Elle Girl performed competitively with a 46.1% jump in ad pages last year to total 749.3, according to the Publishers Information Bureau, and a 17.9% increase in average paid circulation to 601,149 for the second half of 2005, compared to the last half of 2004, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
