Project in Scotland to focus on tailored drugs

Wyeth, the U.K.'s National Health Services and universities are collaborating on a project aimed at designing personalized drugs for thousands of Scottish patients. The Translational Medicine Research Collaboration plans to examine the patients' medical records to determine their genetic makeup and design personalized drugs for diseases such as cancer and diabetes.
