Developers strive for early success with iPad apps

Many of the most successful iPhone applications were the earliest releases. Consequently, iPad app developers, many of whom snapped up the Apple tablets over the weekend, are rushing to fine-tune their offerings for launch. "Once we saw how many apps were already available for the iPad, we realized we needed to jump on it right away," said Igor Pusenjak, co-creator of the iPhone app Doodle Jump.
