ECB is expected to maintain interest rates

Policymakers at the European Central Bank are not expected to change interest rates when they meet this week. "Conventional monetary support will be maintained for much longer than markets expect," said Jennifer McKeown, Capital Economics' senior economist for Europe. It will be the first time ECB governors meet since EU leaders decided to accept potential help for Greece from the International Monetary Fund. The ECB strongly opposed the move.
