Leaders roam the halls to boost employee morale

Executives from companies such as US Airways Group and Quicken Loans are spending more time with employees in an attempt to boost morale, listen to employee concerns -- and complaints -- and gather ideas. "It's a great retention tool and the [job] market is starting to turn," said PricewaterhouseCoopers Chairman Robert Moritz, who has asked executives to talk to more workers.
