Smoke-free status hasn't hurt business in states with bans

State restaurant associations and individual eateries in a host of states with smoking bans say the regulations haven't hurt business. "People have become accustomed and expect to not experience secondhand smoke," said Beth Kilgore, spokeswoman New York's Bureau of Tobacco Control. "It has become a nonissue to bars and restaurants."
