Former military pilot now member of Civil Air Patrol

Former military pilot Jerry Sharp joined the Civil Air Patrol in 2006. "The program is military and aviation oriented, so it's wonderful for young people," said Sharp. The Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer organization that assists with search and rescue, in addition to training cadets.
