Isis readies m-commerce NFC debut for Salt Lake City

The Isis joint venture says it will introduce its digital wallet program in Salt Lake City next year in a pilot that will provide consumers with an array of shopping services with the tap of their phones. Isis was formed in November under a partnership between Verizon Wireless, AT&T and T-Mobile USA. Meanwhile, Jud Linville, Citigroup's new chief executive of credit cards, expressed skepticism about the near-term outlook for digital wallets: "There will be massive amounts of value destroyed chasing mobile deals."
