New York City council pushes ban on fast-food toys

Some members of the New York City Council on Tuesday proposed a ban on free toys in fast-food restaurant meals for children in an effort to fight childhood obesity. The move would reduce "predatory marketing techniques" and encourage more healthful options, said Leroy Comrie, the council's deputy majority leader.
