Facebook's impending IPO will put the company under pressure to unlock new revenue streams beyond just advertising, experts say. One option would be to turn Facebook into an e-commerce giant such as Amazon or eBay, perhaps by increasing the social network's strategic emphasis on its Credits payment system. "E-commerce is a huge category with very strong tailwinds and it's a natural move for Facebook," says Sam Schwerin of Millennium Technology Value Partners.
