Conn. firm answers safety concerns at public hearing

Guilford, Conn.-based J.J. Sullivan Fuel Oil answered safety concerns from town residents at a public hearing Wednesday regarding its plan to install a 30,000-gallon underground propane tank in the town. "We've been at our site for 60 years and we've placed a lot of importance on being good neighbors, and we hope to continue that tradition. I'm the fourth generation in this company, and we have to look at ways to change our business to respond to the needs of the community," said company co-owner J.P. Sullivan.
