Facebook to let developers add location data in postings

Just as Spotify can now generate Facebook status updates about what its users are listening to, developers will be able to link data about user locations to Facebook members' postings. The social network plans to soon add the Open Graph API that allows this, building on the growing interest in location among mobile application and service developers.
