Teen tanning bill in Missouri sparks debate

Missouri lawmakers are at odds over a bill that would require parental consent for teens younger than 18 to use a tanning facility and prohibit those younger than 15 from using tanning equipment. Supporters of the bill said that too much tanning can lead to cancer, but some opponents see the legislation as an excessive government intrusion on personal freedoms.
