Report: Bank of Cyprus officials may have deleted key e-mails

Two former top officials at the Bank of Cyprus may have deleted e-mail messages related to the bank's disastrous decision to invest heavily in Greek government bonds, according to a report the Cypriot central bank commissioned. Forensic experts examining the computers of former CEO Andreas Eliades and Christakis Patsalides, a high-ranking executive in the bank's treasury department, found "wiping software" normally not installed on the bank's computers.
