Report: Tech companies face highest risk of malware attacks

The world's enterprises are facing an onslaught of malware, with an average of one malicious attack every three minutes, according to a report from the security firm FireEye, which found technology firms are most likely to be in the crosshairs. According to data analyzed in the second half of 2012, malicious coders are using increasingly sophisticated bugs and so-called advanced persistent threats, which can piggyback onto legitimate software programs such as Adobe Reader.
