Wary of North Korea, U.S. will move interceptor to Guam

In response to escalating threats from North Korea, the U.S. is deploying a missile interceptor to the island of Guam, the Pentagon has announced. The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, whose prime contractor is Lockheed Martin, will be brought to Guam in the next several weeks. "The United States continues to urge the North Korean leadership to cease provocative threats and choose the path of peace by complying with its international obligations," the Pentagon said in a release.
