Why digital citizenship should be on the minds of educators

Digital citizenship should be at the forefront of every school leader's mind, said Technology Information Center for Administrative Leadership's Jason Borgen at the National School Boards Association's recent annual conference. "Digital citizenship shifts the way we do business and what we prepare our students for," Borgen said. He highlighted the nine digital citizenship considerations, outlined in a book by Mike Ribble, which include digital health, security, access and literacy.
