Phoenix Constructors joint venture begins work on WTC project

A joint venture called Phoenix Constructors has been awarded the project to build about 3,000 feet of pedestrian tunnels in the World Trade Center that will eventually connect the World Financial Center to a new $2 billion transportation hub. Phoenix Constructors consists of Slattery Skanska, Bovis Lend Lease, Granite Construction and Fluor Enterprises.
