CAB won't support ad-buying exchange

The Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau, which represents most of the biggest cable networks, announced that its members won't take part in an ad-buying exchange. The exchange, called eMedia, is designed to add Web-like transparency to advertising deals and the test site was designed by eBay; however, CAB president Sean Cunningham said the site fails to meet the needs of buying and selling TV media online.
