Bank of England likely to discuss quantitative easing

At its meeting Thursday, the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee is expected to focus not on interest-rate cuts but on how well its quantitative-easing program is working. The program was implemented to pump fresh money into the U.K. economy, and the committee will consider whether to continue the effort.
